About Hakuba
Hakuba pride itself on natural powder snow as historic ski resort even in all of Japan.
Alpine & jumping copetitions of Winter Olympic Game was hold here in Hakuba
in 1998. Happo-One ski resort where Alpine events was hold is the nearlest ski hills from Hakuba High Mount Hotel
The season in Hakuba lasts from the beginning of December untill the beginning
of May. There are usually guaranteed powder conditions from mid December to
mid March.

Hakuba HighMount Hotel
Hakuba HighMount Hotel is located in the Wadano area at the bottom of Happo-One ski resort. There is the nearest ski feild is SAKKA area of Happo-One where its 3minutes to walk down from the hotel.
Also, we have shuttle service to Sakka area when you ski/board out and in.

Conveniently, free shuttle bus service of Escal Plaza (the main basement at Goryu) runs to our hotel to pick our guests and neighbours up in the morning and to deliver back in the evening.
This is the best way to go to Hakuba47 also, because Goyu and Hakuba47 is connected to each other with a huge mountain.

Restaurants / Bars

There are many variety of local restaurants.....Japanese IZAKAYA , BBQ shops, traditional Japanese restaurant, some international cuisine in all of town . Especially romantic ,loud bar are in Echoland St.
The Genki-Go shuttle bus runs all around the town which costs only \200 per ride.
Also, HighMount Hotel have free shuttle service to downtown in the evening..Please check the time table at the reception.
